  • The diversity of products many ecommerce, internetsoftware companies (likes of Amazon, Google, Facebook, Apple, Microsoft etc.) create reflect their own Organizational Structure (Quoting Melvin Conway's research and observations, that the way organizations are structured, impacts the systems they create. In his “How Do Committees Invent" he wrote:
    "Any organization that designs a system (defined more broadly here than just information systems) will inevitably produce a design whose structure is a copy of the organization's communication structure."


    Here, I'm giving it a different context and interpretation as the organizational structure also defines organizational behaviour.
