The metaphor as depicted in the image which is the topic of the main discussion for diversity is so powerful. We never go deeper into the proverbial iceberg because we are so fixated on scratching the surface! A great graphic to show, when you talk to clients about diverse customers and talent. There are so many attributes and experiences that are not immediately visible. A lot of challenges within Inclusion and Diversity and the many intersectional points can come out in the open if we look closely at this image and what it represents. To find meaningful and impactful solutions we have to go deeper into the Inclusion Iceberg as is made clear from the image above. Going deep down, and not just left scratching the surface.
