RBS
India's big leap towards inclusion and equality is commendable. The bank is
offering same-sex partners of RBS employees' medical cover. It may not sound
path-breaking but this decision is made in India to come at par with their
global initiatives to create more inclusive workplace. Indian law criminalises
same-sex partnerships in Section 377 of the penal code. Hence, this is indeed a
liberal move that many other global companies in India should follow suit!
