Shame : German Hapag Lloyd Cruises company, which operates the MS Bremen in Svalbard archipelago!

We ran into this cute vid earlier today and couldn't help immersing in the feeling of sheer joy of  Nora the polar bear which is not just contagious but heartening to see. And then, we read about how a polar bear gets shot at and killed in its natural habitat by German Hapag Lloyd Cruises company, which operates the MS Bremen in Svalbard archipelago in the name of self-defense.

Shame! Do we need tourism like this at all? In addition to the accelerated loss of their natural habitat resulting from climate change, polar bears are also listed as a threatened, vulnerable and Endangered species.

We ask WWF, Wildlife Conservation Society, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and other Animal rights organizations to intervene and stop Arctic cruises from operating in critical zones.
