We are loving the inclusive strides Barbie is taking. European Space Agency recently teamed up with BARBIE to encourage girls to become astronauts.
A welcome step breaking out of stereotyped gender roles indeed!
While, the Fall 2019 Barbie "Fashionistas" line which includes: a doll, in brown and blonde, with wheelchair + ramp for the Barbie Dreamhouse propels inclusion.
This is the result of a collaboration with the UCLA Mattel Children’s hospital, the wheelchair is modeled after a real, rigid frame wheelchair ♿
