"When I meet people in different parts of the world, I am always reminded that we are all basically alike; we are all human beings."

The Dalai Lama marks his 85th birthday today. We wish His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama a happy and blessed long life. He has now lived for 61 of those 85 years in India and has added, in both tangible and intangible ways to our spirituality and our moral compass. His teachings have inspired hundreds and thousands of people outside his own community to seek the true meaning of life and he is indeed a living reflection of the shared Buddhist heritage and faith.

The Dalai Lama is also a symbol of hope to the Tibetan community that was forced to flee their homeland because of China's territorial aggression and known expansionist agenda. The tension between self-interest and the interests of others dominates all our daily lives, especially where they come into conflict. And conflict can be handled with compassion. This is the Dalia Lama's way of being and existence.

To us,  His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama serves as a beacon of Inclusion and Diversity. The Spiritual Head of Tibet and Nobel Peace Prize winner has been serving humanity despite living in exile for decades. Despite the hardships, he has proved time and again with his wisdom and guidance, that compassion and forgiveness is the only way

The Dalai Lama has devoted his life to the pursuit of humanitarian and environmental causes, global peace, and a lot more. He has authored many bestselling books including The Art of Happiness, The Book of Joy, and many others, and has been felicitated with numerous honors including the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989

May he continue to inspire generations across the world.

Nam Myoho Renge Kyo ☸️ 📿🙏

We stand with the Tibetans in their quest for freedom.
