KFC was forced to close hundreds of stores
following a problem with its chicken supplier but in the midst of that chaos, its print advertisement is indeed a masterclass on branding and communications. Unreservedly apologizing to its customers with some self-depreciating humor which feels genuine and authentic even if you don't like 🐔 chicken :)
I spend a lot of time exploring
the nuances of messaging in my line of work as the messaging shouldn't be unintended but defined because its incredible how a single
word can shift our perception. Language is generative and through words brands
like KFC have the ability to emerge unscathed
from an almost crisis situation!
