Today is World Environment Day and this year’s theme is “Beat Plastic Pollution”. The above image explains the 9 easy steps for living with less plastic. Each one can imbibe these steps in our day-to-day living without making big adjustments but collectively making a huge and positive impact on our environment. The image above is used under the "fair use" modality as this is an educational post. 

You don't need to be a corporate or a government body and run elaborate programs to save the environment and profess sustainability and social responsibility. You don't need to be an environmentalist who is reeling under the alarming statistics of environmental degradation. Ultimately the onus lies on all of us as the citizens of this planet, as individuals to just remember the 4 R's – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, if you can't do any of these 3, Refuse - Don't just follow the 4R's especially on 5th June only, the 4R's are for Everyday!
