Today is the first day of Black History Month in the UK!
Although we should strive to support and be the closet Ally throughout the year, let's celebrate the marking of this occasion this entire month by ensuring we use our voice as allies to call out on organizations that indulge in token recognition... use BHM as a mere marketing ploy.
While many employers were quick to show initial support for the Black Lives Matter movement and to support their black employees better, few have maintained that initial enthusiasm. Keep the momentum on folks!
